RE: new streamlined company

RE: new streamlined companyDougie,  You are right, there will be more asset sales and cost cutting.  However, I don't think this Board is capable of reversing the decline.  They have stood by fiddling as Rome burnt and, as I said in another post, were complicit in its demise.  The Ottawa office is shut and all the people there have been fired I believe.  Gurard is a finance guy with moderate business experience s is not the right person to take over.  Purio is a commercial shipping Captain who isn't around all the time and doesn't have defense industry experience at the right levels - so he's just in a holding pattern (I hope).

No one else in the company has the right blend of experience and skill, so they will have to go outside.  An option could be to try and recall one of the guys that Kirkpatrick fired in an attempt to create the illusion he was doing something (so he could keep drawing his pay). The last sales guys (Kearns and Gibbs I think they were) didn't achieve anything.  So what about the guys who were runnning the Sales and Marketing before them.  The naval side seemed to have some great prospects and the Soldier/Land side was clearly being developed well.  So maybe we should look at one of those guys?  Just my thoughts.
