RE: News out (Victor)

RE: News out (Victor)HonestAbe,

I'm also new to the scene as far as URSA is concerned. I became interested in what was going on when ISM began disclosing share ownership in UMJ, and then was astounded when their CEO had the gall to discredit UMJ management and suggest a call for an election.

I've followed the antics of ISM and their CEO for a number of years. In my opinion both are the epitome of what not to look for in a public company and the leader of a public company.  I'll not go into details on this forum, except to say that in my opinion the accomplishments have been none, and the questionable strategy and actions taken have been numerous. In this, and several past fiascos, all I have learned is never be surprised by what might be done or promised, and don't expect anything in the way of accomplishments. I have no idea what the ultimate motive might be, and I'm highly doubtful of ISM management's ability to carry it out, if in fact it does have merit.

I find it either arrogant or ignorant, or both, that given the track record of Miller and his company, they would presume to discredit UMJ and the UMJ Directors. If you look at the calibre and achievements of ISM's Directors over the past several years, you would be puzzled that they think they can propose a slate for UMJ, when they've had such disappointing results on a slate for their own company. That likely explains why UMJ postponed the scheduled meeting for the vote that ISM requisitioned - ISM couldn't or wouldn't  produce a slate of Directors - and then they whined about the vote being called off. How and why have an election, with the only candidates being the incumbent? A typical example of the buffoonery that results when this ISM outfit is involved.

I don't know if that helps, but I think I've made it clear that in my opinion the best outcome for UMJ and its shareholders is that ISM and Randy Miller become non issues in the future of URSA - and the sooner the better.
