thank you
First of all,, thank you for taking five minutes of your time to discuss my post, I willignore the nasty personal comments at the end.
First the $3.00. There was nothing. Nothing. Absolutely no reason for that rise in sp. And, if you look at the sp, it had fallen BEFORE the stock market crash. I know you keep ignoring that little fact and chose to assume it was the sp
fall was due to the crash.
Now, Iron prices.. Well, the problem is that iron prices may be, in fact, rising. But to isolate that one fact as dd is well...a bit oversimplified. Let me try and put it in perspective. Oil has increased nearly 40$ in the last few months.
AXI, as we all know, needs to process the iron at Roche to make it economically feasable. So energy costs are a huge factor in such a remote area. The price of iron is quoted in USD. Costs are in Canadian dollars. Our dollar sits at about 1.03 US today. When AXI started the project it was at .80 something.
Good DD is about not selectively picking and choosing which facts you want to go with.
It is about cold hard analysis. And that may include trying to make sense out of the emotions people use to buy and hold or sell the stock. Lots of research material on this, but very interesting to see in real time, as we can see here.
The NR's. They are not misleading in any way. But they are written in such a way, that if you have, for lack of a bettter term, an "optimistic" mind set, you can overlook some of the small details to interpret them as you like. It is not about the NR's. It is about how different people interpret them. There has been ample comments on here in the past regarding the fact that companies do not tend to post problems. When you read a NR that states the company is continuing to do business with a firm they already have been doing business with, it takes a true believer in the story to see that as a vote of confidence. It means the bill has been paid, and they shall continue on.
As to my remarks about childish manipulation.. To quote another poster...I just could not help myself. What do you make of comments that are derogatory towards those that sell into a falling sp rather that hold or buy more, or the comments about buy buy buy...or calling people morons for selling at .86!!!
Now I have gladly given you five minutes of my precious time in the honest hope it will give you pause to think and not react like a starving pitbull with a pork chop.
I have always been quite curious as to what people actually do for DD? It would be nice to have a less contenous bullboard to discuss DD procedures in general and how people analysize different things.
