RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Missed the SaleI heard on the news last night where someone speculated that if the back-up generators had been installed well above grade level, there would not have been an issue. The power stations were built to withstand earthquakes but someone put the generators in the basement and when the tsunami hit, sea water got in and damaged the generators. Had they been installed at about 40' high, we probably wouldn't be seeing all the various meltdowns, markets included. This was just talking head on TV so who knows. Although engineers have been known to make catastrophic mistakes before.
