ZZZZZZZZZZZ

ZZZZZZZZZZZWell that was a nice little run to over 15 and almost 16 but here we
are back in the 14 and change value.
Some good news in the sale of Harry Winston to free up some cash.
One wonders though why the Russians would sell their portion of Kupol??
That doesn't smell good in that the Russians had a cash cow. Why would they sell it?
I would love to hear news that Kinross was selling off some of the less desirable high
cost mines and buying back shares to reduce the obscene float.
A billion shares makes it very difficult to show any sort of profit per share even if
Taoist is found to have more gold than has been reported.
Kupol was supposed to be one of the lowest cost, highest producing mines found
in years but it had had no effect on the share price of Kinross.
The company is overextended and so there is always something to the downside it seems
to more than negate any good news.
The company needs to get lean and mean, get rid of the crap, cut costs to the bone and
actually make some money rather than dreaming about being one of the biggest gold
companies in the world.
