PeaceI appreciate those that are skilful at communicating their point in ways that help some without offending anyone. It certainly is a greater strength.
A recent point the board should be considering:
“And I want an announcement that they are going full-speed ahead to build a 4m ounce mine, funded by US dollar denominated debt.”
The production rate goal of 1 million ounces per year by the end of year is both conservative and safe. I think it is the most reasonable approach for 2011. While there haven’t been any announcements, there is no reason why the board can’t be developing plans further out as it works to achieve this year’s goal. I’ve been considering for my personal finance a long term debt in USA dollars. A 30-year loan that will be paid back with a depreciating currency (or life insurance). A large production expansion funded by long-term USA dollar debt wouldn’t increase the float and could greatly enhance share-HOLDER value. I hope our board is considering the opportunity.
The problem with corporate promotions to drive up the share price is that they spend the company’s cash without improving the real asset value. And sooner or later, the promotions are regarded as ‘pump’. That makes great opportunity for traders but, Long term share-HOLDER’s don’t benefit from a ‘pump’.
While it is commonly accepted that swearing is an offensive way to communicate, it obviously is not the only way to communicate offensively. In my opinion, using the Lord’s name in vain would be more like me saying that God wants you to gift me all of your silver and slx shares.
