RE: Finally....Hi Bogapet!

So I really don't want managementwasting a lot of
energy trying to manipulate the stock price shortterm. And if they do engage in that type of activity, I don't trustthem. Not that I think that's what is being suggested here. Keepingthe market well informed of what the company is up to is a duty of management, but their main job is to create real value in the enterprise. Properly informed, in the long term, the market will recognize value.
There is an inference here that getting the message out to the market about Silvermex would somehow interfere with the job of getting the mine operational. I can't buy that!
There is enough money in the till to afford a modicum of promotion. Are we in the Yellow Pages?
Mr Arthur Brown, our Chairman, is connected with over 40 companies beside ours. He seems able to cope with more than one thing at a time. Couldn't we be one of them?
The VP Exploration, Mr Robert Fraser, is looking after the drilling and other geological issues.
Mr Peppin, General Manager Mexican Operations is looking after the mines.
I don't think anyone is suggesting the Company ask any of these guys to handle IR stuff themselves.
Mr Brown or Duane should be able to make a radio or TV appearance once a month without distracting them unduly from their other duties. Or they might hire an outside ageny skilled enough to handle the job. That is what this all about. Why hide your talents and your wares under a rock?
No-one doubts we have a great silver resource.
No-one doubts that Silvermex will get those mines rolling efficiently.
No-one doubts that getting the mines rolling is the top priority.
All that is accepted as given. As a lawyer might say, "We have an agreed upon "Statement of Facts".
The point is, making people aware of the Company doesn't need to take away from the mining, drilling or production issues. One should be able to clean the basement AND talk at the same time!
If, after saying all that, the Company still feels that "Silence is Golden", let them take note of these concerns and at least put out a NR explaining their position. Surely our dismal share price warrants a passing comment, if nothing else!
