Remember when crude ran up to 140$? No margin hikes, even tho they blamed it all on speculators

Sure do? It was only "OK" when " speculators ran oil back to $30? That was OK? After the " specs " ran it to $147?
When was that GS $250 oil call? And " demand destruction " became a self-fulfilling snowball rolling down with the economy.

The WH would be smart ( big IF ) to continue nudging CFTA on oil and gas margins. It's about politics......not Silver.

For the Obama team it's about getting reelected. Lower gas prices would help in 12'.

More margin hikes to come.
