RE: RE: Repost of CBS interviewYa, there were lots of comments about Simmons when first announced like "washed up", "old ", "out of touch" but these people didn't realize this guy is a marketers dream. KISS was a marketing idea (the makeup et al). His arrogance is why he can sit there and hold up an ORTSBO sign and spell the sites name about 6 times per T.V. spot and get away with it.
Simmons is a promoter, a P.T. Barnum or Bill Veeck and even better he actually believes in the product and the potential for global impact. His belief shows through both to the interviewers and the audience.
Not many better at promotion than him.
