RE: Re: Mechanical Stock Trading- YOU ARE 100 % CORRECT, HARIKARI. THIS WAS ON 60MINUTES TONIGHT, TOO.
- IN CANADA THERE USED TO BE A FEATURE CALLED 'ALL or NONE'. SOME 2.5 YEARS AGO THE BROKERAGE HOUSES HAD THE TSX AND TSX-V DROP THAT FEATURE. SO NOW THE BROKERAGE HOUSES SPLIT ALMOST EVERY SINGLE BUY / SELL ORDER INTO 2, 3 OR MORE ORDERS AND CHARGE COMMISSION AS MANY TIMES.
- IS IT FAIR THAT THE HIGH FREQUENCY TRADERS CAN BUY / SELL BILLIONS OF SHARES EVERY DAY AND THE RETAIL INVESTORS, LIKE US, CANNOT BUY / SELL EVEN 100 SHARES WITHOUT HAVING THEIR BUY / SELL ORDERS SPLIT?
- I HAVE WRITTEN TO ALL THE REGULATORY BODIES AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM PASSED THE BUCK TO SOME ONE ELSE.
- BY THE WAY, THE ALL or NONE FEATURE IS AVAILABLE TO THE AMERICAN CITIZENS, NO PROBLEM THERE. IT IS ONLY THE CANADIANS WHO ARE BEING VICTIMIZED BY THE BROKERAGE HOUSES WITH TSX AND TSX-V CONNIVANCE.
