The way I read it---they don't control nuthin' till they meet the spud date.
And they ain't aquired nothin'---till they meet the spud date.

They is also several nice hotels and some durned fancy houses 'already in place' accross alberta. Some of them have nice rigs parked in front of them.
But that don't necessarily mean i can come in, raid the fridge, take a shower and go to bed in any of them. Or jump in a rig 'already in place' and spin the tahrs as i haid to my next stop......
