RE: What would this mean for DAN?

RE: What would this mean for DAN?This is very good news for DAN, as Quebec is a very friendly mining jurisdiction.  In addition the DAN terrain is less susceptible to environmental issues.

DAN will be taken over, whether by Agrium, Mosaic or the Chinese.

DAN's 2010 audited financial statements, note 11e already contemplates a Chinese takeover  (ignore the couple of English translation mistakes, the French version is shown beside it in the F/S and is also reproduced below:

" e) In June 2010, the Company signed an agreement
with the companies Wilcandex and Gestion Baltrust
for the sale or the financing of the Lac à Paul project
by chinese investors for a one year period.
According to this agreement, the Company will have
to grant 200,000 share purchase options if a sale or
a financing is concluded with chinese investors
submitted by Wilcandex and Gestion Baltrust.
Further to the obtaining of a pre-feasability study the
Company will have to paid a commission of 7 % of
the obtained amount and further to the obtaining of a
feasibility study the Company will have to pay a
commission of 5 % of the obtained amount. The
agreement is renewable for one additional year."

" e) En juin 2010, la Société a signé une entente avec
les sociétés Wilcandex inc. et Gestion Baltrust
pour la vente ou le financement du projet du Lac à
Paul par des investisseurs chinois pour une durée
d’un an. Selon cette entente, la Société devra
octroyer 200 000 options d’achat d’actions si une
