RE: NEW TOOLservice rigs do not carry any specialized equipment, all they usually have is rod & tube handling equipment. All specialized tools for tubing and zone testing, fishing,and perf wash tools are rented from a tool rental company as these tools are not used everyday. They are rented when required as they are too expensiveto have on hand.
The tester tool will be provided on a daily rental basis from a tool rental company . Service conmpanies will not havethe tool but will use if the job requires it on direction of the lease/well owner or operator. The tool rental ccompany will have an inventory of tools and essential spares for rental to service companies that will multiply the usagemany times over.
