RE: Online Forum With AZX Eric OwensReally???!!!! I post a link of our CEO doing a Q&A today with other investors, as well as an analyst from the Motley Fool, and I get an ignore and my post gets rated a 1????
Did you not click on the link you idiot? There is a lot of good information in there that as a shareholder you would be interested in reading..
Here are some excerpts:
"We are interested in an equitable buyout - but this much is clear, ithas to be fairly valued, and as noted above I believe we areconsiderably undervalued. That was one of the reasons I brought Agnicoin a year and a half ago: as protection against unwanted suitors with anundervalued offer. Risk management, if you will."
"As added ammunition for the argument that I expect the share price toincrease, we currently have global combined resources at Orenada andSleepy of 900,000 ounces (not all currently minable -- this is a globalresource of M&I and Inferred ounces) which, if discounted by 90% ofthe gold price is worth something like $135,000,000. Our market value ison the order of $20,000,000"
"Yes we are very excited about Akasaba. The geologicalsignatures we see at Akasaba are similar to Agnico's La Ronde Mine, which as you know is a 3 km deep, 10 million ounce gold deposit (abouthalf of that mined to-date). We have mostly drilled down to 300 m deep, with a few holes (not many, just 2 or 3) down to below 450-500 m. Wetherefore have much to do.
The similarities arethese: 1) gold occurs in sulfide-rich volcanic layers 2) there aremultiple gold-bearing veins (called "lenses" by the oldtimers because ofthe high sulfide content), not only within our principal target, themain Mine Horizon, but also elsewhere on the property, 3) anomalous toore-grade copper and zinc sulfides, with total sulfide content routinely5-15%, but often up to 30% or more, 4) spatial relationship of themineralization to granitic rocks and their volcanic equivalent,dacite/rhyolite."
