RE: Mountaineer 78mountaineer78, aka "Michael",
I acknowledge your assurance that you will not be communicating further with me on this forum. Also Thanks for the go ahead to get in the last word.
I should also Thank You for confirming and adding credibility to other points I made.
As I suggested: "There will likely be a concerted hue and cry go up from a number of posters, questioning my mental stability, motives, etc.. The authors of these charges are either part of the group, or are too naive to be commenting." You were the first poster to confirm my prediction, I'll leave it to readers to guess which category you fit in.
You mention you and your group are not the average joe investor. This statement not only doesn't surprise me, I had referred to that previously. You hold the opinion that you're a step above the common people. That is evident from every post of yours that I have read. The sharing of those points that you feel confirm your superiority can be called pomposity or arrogance - whatever its called it only massages your ego. Most average joes are unimpressed with self adulation. They also realize that what you claim can be straight B.S. Anyone can copy a college logo, claim post graduate credentials, claim to be a member of a "not average joe" group, etc. Even if you are what you say - it doesn't make you immune to being taken in by Howe Street shills - that's been proven over and over again.
As well as your superiority complex, you also exhibit another flaw not appreciated by the average investor. In order to support what you believe [or would like others to believe] you resort to making claims that you are obviously unable to support. This can result in you contradicting yourself and further damaging any credibility you might have. For instance you say I have no shares in GRR - an educated man graduated from a prestigious university must know that you have no idea what shares I hold. Then you say my comments about shills are a fantasy, and that it is apparent to you my stance results from being a victim in the past. You've backed yourself into a corner there Michael - your contradicting yourself. If these shill groups are a fantasy, how could I be a victim? You have made two claims that are false. I have got proof of my claims concerning the shill group, including statements I made in the post you take credit for having removed. Secondly, I have not been a "victim" of this group in the past. Both of these false claims that you have made, you are unable to support, and I can verify this. But when you don't want to hear the truth, or don't want others to hear the truth, you make false claims to support your agenda.
As I said your bluster does not affect me - your threat of legal action, included. You state that Stockhouse agreed my post was defamatory against your investment and GRR management. That is an outright lie. They pulled the post, but they did not indicate to you that it was defamatory to GRR or GRR management. You can support your statement by pasting a copy of the Stockhouse communication to this effect - it won't be forthcoming, will it Michael? And if you are naive enough to believe that a pulled post by Stockhouse is grounds for legal action, you're in for a real education. If you and your "group" wants to challenge anything I've said on legal grounds, have at it. It is something that has been tried before - it was a public embarrassment for those that tried. I won't show you my whole hand, but if you'd like a few tid bits that might save you legal fees and cost awards, inbox me. The information would be off topic on this forum.
So you have a superiority complex and you're willing to make claims dealing with my personal investment history that you have no way of knowing. And you credit Stockhouse with a statement they did not make. What else might take away from your credibility. You state in your profile that you are a novice, when it comes to investments. I'd guess this is a correct evaluation. I'd say your comment on the Private Placements, demonstrates the naiveté of a novice. You say: "Looks like to me the PP’s that have been financed so far for this company have turned out to be pretty good bets." Duh! This is your response to my comment on how a select few can often benefit at the expense of the average joe? I'd say your comprehension deficiency is showing again, Michael.
Lastly, your suggestion that I visit the company. Why would I visit the company? GRR has provided public information that is sufficient for my purposes, when they released their March 9 Corporate Disclosure - in particular this excerpt: "Mr. Myles is an employee, providing shareholder communications for the Company. The public should not rely on the Larry Myles Reports because they contain overly promotional statements and unsupported opinions that are misleading..." What more can the company do to support my opinion of Mr Myles - that's about as damning as it can get. I didn't need GRR to tell me what I already knew, but the confirmation stated by a party directly involved with Mr. Myles is something I find of great value to me. A bit of common sense reveals Larry Myles' agenda. For one thing, why is he providing a newsletter service free to everyone on the internet?
As for my purpose of making some aware of the track record of certain posters on this forum, it may be ongoing. But at the present sweatman hasn't posted for some time, and the new aliases that popped up have been inactive or removed by Stockhouse. And with your promise to cease further communication with me on this forum, another reason for me to post is taken away. Maybe the forum can return to a calmer place as ernesto would like. His post on mining stock investments and his approach on GRR includes more useful insight than all of sweatman's posts combined.
