up coming use for magnetite......

up coming use for magnetite......There is a small iron ore company located in the
vicinity of the Crows Nest Pass of Alberta that has
found a niche market for it's magnetite. It does not
even have to refine the iron ore since the raw ore
100% is sold  with the host  rock. This waterless, dry
processing saves a lot of money in that no water
storage tanks, tailing ponds are required. Also good
for the enviroment, tailing wise.

The raw ore has 2 main uses;
1) refining and up grading of coal , potash as a thickner..
2) magnetite mix with ordinary cement produces
 Heavy Concrete.

Heavy Concrete has double the density of ordinary
cement, used as added protection against radiation ie;
in buildings and workinf in urainian mines ( Japan re-
building ??/ check out for more info...;
