Market doom and gloom

Market doom and gloomThe shorts really love this market and to me the large banks are behind much of the turmoil..they pick up on economic woes and credit issues and send negative views out continuously..after they've sold their long position and gone short..they push the markets down and cause a real panic even though things may not be as bad as they seem (i.e the U.S. may not go into recession). To these pros come immense profits through shorting..trillions likely..after they've pushed it down enough with their negative news and doom..they will turn around and say things are not so bad after all..after covering their shorts and going long..the markets will then revoer and they'll make even more money.

I see this scenario as what may actually be happening. The trillions they make puts shorting a single stock to shame (sino forest or silvercorp) and the returns are many many times more and they don't have to bad mouth a single stock..just feed the frenzy of bad news on the the whole market/economy/global economy etc. will amke them a winner in almost every stock they short...the loser? the retail investor.

I hope the sell off is over..its certainly overdone. I hope some had cash to pick up the the TRR/NES/GCU/SBB's of this world. solid co's.
