RE: pipeline option, ADI commissioned a 2006 Met-Chem preliminary cost estimate analysis for both pipeline and rail options for a southern route to Sept-Iles (available on SEDAR). The August 2009 ADI Investor Presentation, on page 20, has a map with the proposed pipeline route in green (randomly googled it). Recent presentations only mention rail.

ADI definitely considered the pipeline option, but opted for the long railway.
