prices
pricesSince Jan we've seen Ni prices drop from $11.75 to $8.50. At the same time, LME inventories of Ni have dropped from 140 000 tons down to 83 000 tons (57 000 tons) . The past Nov and Dec brought modest gains to the LME stockpile (probably due to the reduced production brought on by the earlier drop in Ni prices. If another 50 000 tons is spent from the LME stockpile we will be at 25 000 tons and the price of Ni will not have continued this odd decline. This is a nice space to be in now. jplane
