Fairly gutsy of you to make the remarks that you did
regarding the social ills in Nunavut, but then we do
have freedom of speech int his country.

On the other hand nobody is twisting the mining com-
pany's arm to come up north and spend their money;
they come because of plain, simple, greed and soon
find out that Nunavut is not some 3rd rate country ripe
for easy pickings.

Going back a hundred years; if Eastern Canada had
the same attitude rgarding the west as you suggest for
Canada's arctic; everything west of Ontario would now
be a part of the United States.
 
It's a known fact that for every thousand mining properties
listed on the venture stock exchange; very few ever make it
to the production stage. As the Bearhunter has mentioned
several times on this forum; it's all about the sizzel or the
story; that's what is really being mined; that's where the real
money is beng made and not waiting for for a property to
become a mine whether it's in Nunavut or elsewhere.

For your info; 1 in 5 Inuit  already live south of 60.
