The environmental permitting under Wilkinson's lead didn't move very quickly. But perhaps others in management are to blame for not dealing well with the First Nations or the government.

Coincidentally, LIM and NML both registered their DSO projects for environmental permitting on May 5, 2008. Similar projects, all former IOC holdings, similar infrastructure, same locale, same stakeholders.  LIM won environmental release about 1 year earlier, and they've taken advantage of that. NML should also be a DSO producer by now.
