RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Dont rushhow much do you guys normally add?  if you guys dont want to give out $values what percentage of your initial investment did you add today

I added to NAL today at $7.03. My initial position was established in May 2009 and this purchase is my first add and doubles my holdings. At current market values, NAL accounts for just 3.7% of my overall holding and it is now 9% of my oil and gas holdings.

I also have positions in Arc, Baytex, Bonavista, Enerplus, Crescent Point, Pengrowth and Vermillion and most investment pros would probably tell me that a 41% weighting in intermediate oil and gas companies in not appropriate for my age, nor is a 100% stock allocation. My counterpoint is that bonds prices are stretched and will likely fall in the next year or two, and that oil and gas will continue to be consumed for many years to come. I also think that forces within the oil and gas sector as well as government will take the appropriate steps to allow Canadian energy resources to be shipped overseas and that the current Brent/WTI gap will shrink. I'm willing to stomach the ups an downs for now and realize that we could get some gut wrenching downside action if the European situation unravels further but prefer to dwell on the potential for a positive outcome rather than dwelling on the negative risks.
