RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Dont rushdoing some rough calculations I have about 23% of the portfolio in oil/gas. In order of weight I'm holding CrescentPoint, Pengrowth, PennWest, Nal, Avenex, and Petrobakken (I should really try and sub one of the lesser quality names I have with something a little stronger in the sector). NAL makes up 17% of my oil/gas holdings and 3.6% of my portfolio. I think I will add more to NAE but it probably wont be all that often and it probably wont be more than a couple hundred bucks here and there + the DRIP.
I'm more aggressive with my reits, adding on dips, which make up, I think, 40% of the portfolio. Commodities though, I'm more cautious when it comes to building positions. I remember with Daylight I had 2000 shares in the low to mid $7s (thinking I was a hero buying it there) and added 50 shares at around $5.50 in a start to build my position. A few weeks later the Chinese come along. I wouldn't be adverse to the same thing happening again.
