Kami permitting update

Kami permitting updateKami environmental permitting moving along. They've added a project addendum, moving the layout of the electricity line to run along the proposed rail spur, and on Dec. 6th the Minister announced that an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) will be required (par for the course for large mining projects).
*
By the end of the month a committee will be appointed to issue EIS guidelines. The guidelines will be available for public comment in Q1 2012. If ADV's Todd Burlingame knows his business, the EIS is mostly done and will be tweaked to answer specific issues brought up by the guidelines. Submission of EIS by as early as April 2012.
*
If everything goes according to plan Kami will gain environmental release by the end of 2012. This means permitting and construction in 2013, and plant commission in early 2014. This management group doesn't screw around, they underpromise and overdeliver!
