RE: Shale bubble bust Good points. I agree that the cure for low prices is even lower prices. At the moment I think that the news of the death or coming death of the buble is greatly exagerated. It will take a few more months, possible into the summer before this trend is reverse. Makes me wonder how many of the rigs that have been taken out of circulation were profitably on the first place. The way I see it is that the first rigs to be taken out are the non-profitable ones, leaving behind the most profitable (and these profitable rigs are the ones that probably are inhecting the most gas into the system which is one of the main reasons for them being profitable in the first place at these low prices).
Is there a way to find out who controls the active rigs and how much gas they inject into the system?
