If anything two way radios are being replaced by cellphones/micphones and I don't recall any other hairbrained design that incorporates a mic and earphone, anywhere as close as what SHH proposes.  If you buy into the concept of an earphone and a mic sharing the same ear canal, you're clearly in the same league as Fudd.  Zero not 100's of products on the market.
