RE: Stan Bjarte owns 11.5 million shares TheRock --- FYI -- buried on SEDAR "somewhere" is the breakdown of Stan's costs on his CRK position -- his total investment is significantly less than $.95/share. While I do not recall all of the details I do remember clearly that his 1st five (5) million shares acquisition was acquired at a total cost of ~$100 -- this was done just prior to the acquisition of GBS Gold assets from the liquidator and the reverse take-over transaction completed with Franc-Or.
I believe Stan's entire cost history is included within in the document that accompanies the notice of annual meeting - the one that lays out the executive compensation info -- within same there is a summary of his holdings.
There was only one transaction that I recall (about a year ago) when Stan acquired shares on the open market in an effort to support the share price -- I believe this was for 1M shares @ $1 each. Including this transaction - I would guess/expect that his avg cost/share for his entire holding is in the 20 cent/share range.
To determine the exact number it would be necessary to find the summary I mentioned and calculate his investment over time and then subtract the value received from the roughtly 3M shares he sold over the past 24 months.
ALSO -- in addition to the comment earlier about change of control bonuses to the executives/insiders - there is also a massive payment to Stan's company - Forbes and Manhattan - at time of change of control -- as follows:
In addition, in the event that there is a change of control of the Company, either party may terminate this appointment within one year from the date of such change in control. In the event of making such an election, a lump sum termination payment of approximately $3,871,000 to Forbes & Manhattan equivalent to 36 months in general fees plus an amount that is equivalent to all bonuses paid to Forbes & Manhattan in the 36 months prior to the change in control shall be paid
