Steady News = Bubkuss

Steady News = Bubkuss

First of all, the majority of investors in this play and in most plays these days are not retailers. Retailers got scared off around 2008. At this point in time the company is using the pp cash to move the project forward. They don't give a toss about some guy who has 2000 shares and wants news every day. They are catering to the big boys who will pay a premium for a good oil play. Trust me, the retailer doesn't even factor in with oil and gas plays. They are more concerned with Esso, Husky, Talisman etc. taking an interest and im sure they have already sent out portfolio packages to them to announce their find. If you can't handle the wait times with this project, why bother investing in POP? I could care less about the wait times for NRs, I want excellent results that are worth a big player coming in and buying up the play. \

Besides, how many times have we seen (those who have been investing in spec plays for at least 5 years) where a company releases excellent results and the pee-0n retailers start buying the stock, push it up 20% and then sell the hell out of it the next day or two dropping the sp back to where it was even if at that point the stock is 50% undervalued. I take no notice in the day to day shinannigans of this or any play. All it does is allow people to swing trade a bit which isnt a bad way to go either.
