Joint federal/provincial environmental committee appointed to review Kami. Public comments invited on the draft environmental impact statement (EIS) guidelines. See the EIS guidelines and info about aboriginal funding to participate in process here:

So it's good news mostly. The cooperation between the federal and provincial agencies should streamline a complicated assessment process. I like that the draft EIS has been posted already.
