RE: RE: comparisons In Comparison to Romarco minerals(R), they released their updated 43-101 this week. Total
updated resource was 4.84 million ounces, of which approx 83.5% was in the measured and indicated
categories(average overall grade was 1.65 gpt). Romarco's total market cap at today's close
of $1.04 per share was approx 607 mil, or $125.00 per ounce.
If GCU comes out with a 4.0 mil ounce resource(per CIBC estimate) and valuing it at $125.00 ounce
would give us a market cap of $500 mil or approx $4.50 share based on 111. mil shares outstanding.
As for Pine Tree Capital, they have an updated corporate presentation on their website, which
lists 4 of their main gold resource investments, And GCU is one of the 4 companies listed.
This presentation was done as of Jan 12th/12 I beleive when GCU was trading at approx $1.90.
The value of Pinetree's investment in GCU was valued at 31.7 mil (or 4.1 times cost) Based on
this it appears that Pinetree's average cost is just under 50 cents a share, so it appears
we don't have to feel sorry for Sheldon on this Investment. LOL
GLTA Holders of GCU....Also I noticed last year that GCU started releasing winter drill results
approx 5 weeks after the start of winter drilling, . This years start was Jan 20th., so hopefully
in a couple weeks or so we should start getting some more drill results also
