RDA Just curious:
The foundation of Royal Coal is structured for success and primed for profit, with key components in place:
- Industry-experienced management with proven track records and local knowledge
- High-quality coal resources not already controlled by major coal companies
- Permitted, low-cost-production, surface coal mines
- Steady market demand with high quality steam and stoker products
- Unit train loading facilities on the CSX within reasonable truck hauls distance from operations
With such decent available resources, the Management of RDA must be proud that RDA just beat NAG. Has the management identified the key issues of not being able to make a profit and made decisive desisions to find a way out right away? Time will tell but time is running out.
