With her gold-medal winning run in the women’s skicross final Tuesday, Canada’s Ashleigh McIvor became the first lady of her sport, which was debuting at the 2010 Vancouver games.
While her dominant finish turned heads, the real show didn’t start until McIvor took off her helmet and ski goggles.
The 27-year-old blonde bombshell dropped jaws during the medal ceremony and has us kicking ourselves for leaving her off our list of the “11 hottest ladies competing in 2010 Winter Olympics”.

To make amends, we’re profiling the Winter Olympics’ newest “it” girl.
McIvor is no stranger to the camera, doing some modeling on and off the slopes. Her 5-foot-10 stature, athletic build and girl-next-door sweetness are even tougher to resist when you combine that with her passion for skiing, water sports and snowmobiling (doesn’t get any more Canadian than that).
Unfortunately for us, Ashleigh is dating fellow Olympic skier Chris Del Bosco (it’s always the ski bums that get the good girls).
Oh well, we’ll always have Vancouver Ashleigh.
