Dividend rate

Regarding the price drop, would those "facilitating" this drop in price have a target dividend rate in mind they'd like to see before putting a floor under the price?

I'm just curious as I'm new to watching plays like this. I see the SH info page lists the dividend rate as of today as 7.2096%.
