RE: RE: Someone manipulating this thing... Bloomfield...
I totally agree! Having been in the junior market for over 20 years, I've seen this happen time and time again.
It's funny though, as we are in unprecedented times. The divergence between the price of gold and junior gold companies themselves is absolutely mind boggling! Anyone wanting to short over the next couple of weeks is welcome to do so as far as I'm concerned because they are in for a rude awakening. Seriously...2 million ozs in the ground seems to be the general consensus; Combine that with $100 million in the bank and frankly I think anyone willing to short this company at these levels is "Out to Lunch"...Can has all the time in the world with the size of its bank account. Imagine what would happen to the share price if they took over another junior with proven ozs? Or if Sinotech or another major decided they wanted a piece of the pie?
Ben Bernanke today gave the hint of a potential third round of Quantitative Easing and low interest rates...Wanna see what that does to inflation, gold and the US$? :)
The 43-101 is right around the corner...I wouldn't want to be on the short end of this company when it comes out as the risk:reward is so far in favor of buying vs selling that its not even funny. Personally, I'd be surprised if shorts didn't cover in the next couple of weeks, as there not much downside IMO. CAN IS NOW TRADING AT ITS 52 WEEK LOW.
So to the shorters...Keep it up. It's always fun to watch when the "Short Squeeze" has em scrambling to cover...Sure they are selling little bits and pieces of borrowed stock, but they all add up when it comes time to cover..This thing could easily jump 50% or more on a halt...chuckle. And when it does I'm gonna be buyin' big chunks...
