RE: RE: Another cautionary takeover tale Based on EVG's managerial history, the gang that couldn't shoot straight would accept a 30 percent premium takeover in a heartbeat.
Sure, EVG could hit big in Nevada and the stock price could zoom. But I'd suggest you check out the paltry price gains other stocks are getting on the back of good drill results. Single, or even multiple-hole assays mean little these days. You can look that up. EVG goes nowhere until it can point to a 43-101 resource estimate, for any of its properties. Until then, it bobs around and some larger miner could decide it's a cheap target worth acquiring.
As for a spinout, I'd hope not based on how bad the Prosperity deal was for U.S. shareholders.
Bottom line is, I keep reading some posters looking at an EVG takeover as good for what ails those of us who are underwater in the stock. I'm merely trying to bring them back into the land of reality. Just as before people were speculating 100 or 200 percent takeover premiums for EVG. Wishful thinking. The standard is in the 30 percent range and Silvermex is just the latest example.
But keep on dreaming. It sure beats the reality.
