Baja Minings MD&A 1st Q 2012

Baja Minings MD&A 1st Q 2012

I just read Baja’s MD&A for the 1st Q 2012, most will read and focus on the negatives---but the purpose for a MD&A is for the board and it has a natural conservative stance ie paints a “worst case scenario”, and there was really no new negative information that has not already been communicated in other forms and markets factored into the price.

Because a MD&A is for the board and very conservative, when it states “Management believes that, based on the underlying value of Boleo, it will be able to obtain the necessary financing to meet the Company’s requirements on an ongoing basis”---this is a positive signal that the needed financing will be obtained.

The MD&A did stipulate that conditions and requirements will need to considered and met---which in my view may slow down the team in obtaining the entire amount in one sweep---more than likely, the team will obtain certain agreements/concessions and sufficient resources to keep the project on tract, while additional financing is worked.
