Personally, Id like to see the level of competitio

It may be true that free enterprise reins when railway must compete with truck, and that is rightfully so.

However, more remote regions might be more effectively served through the addition of regional, specialist

types of carriers. That would be one way to dramatically decrease the labor cost for the railways in general,

while providing consumers of railway products better pricing.
