Africa Energy Corp. is a Canada-based oil and gas exploration company focused on South Africa. The Company owns approximately 49% of the common shares and 100% of the Class B shares in Main Street 1549 Proprietary Limited (Main Street 1549), which holds a 10% participating interest in the Exploration Rights for Block 11B/12B offshore the Republic of South Africa (Block 11B/12B). Block 11B/12B is located in the Outeniqua Basin approximately 175 kilometers (km) off the southern coast of South Africa. The block covers an area of 19,000 square kilometers (Km2) with water depths ranging from 200 meters in the north to 1,800 meters in the south.

AOI Board Meeting Today

What it would be to be a fly on that wall.

I spoke with one of the top three (self-described 'major') shareholders just before the meeting. He was incensed at what he portrayed as a complete fabrication on the part of Bloomberg.

I see it as an attack, almost expected when something like AOI has run up the way it has and was showing a top as recently as several dsays ago. Short or not, some people in power are having their way with this stock now. and the bad press starts to flow in order to get cheaper shares or worse.

I am buying Keith Hill and Ian Gibb's Brazilian oil play V.PTV .... work over news on the wells is due early next week and the play is getting ready for a serious jolt of new management blood.

All that for 0.08 cents per share.
