RE: RE: Talisman Extension of license??? Thank you Rocketred500. I found it last night. However, I thought it stated that they had to make a decision by the end of May and that it had to be paid by the end of June. I thought that was a little strange as I believe Talisman would want to see the results of the cretaceous zone before committing to such an outlay.
I totally agree with you that if they commit WZR will move higher. I have quite a large holding in WZR but was concerned that no decision had been made to extend.
I like this stock very much and it reminds me of GKP which stagnated for a long time before making a very large move up. Ufortunately, i got impatient with GKP and sold before it made it's move.
I would expect that WZR will begin it's move up over the next few weeks i.e before the end of June and if Talisman decides to proceed it will make another substantial move. I have noticed over the last few weeks there has been some nice buys and appears that buyers are quietly taking positions in the stock. It will be interesting to also see who buys in ( rumour Total ) and will be another impetus for the stock.
I also hold Heritage Oil who as you know are drilling Miran which turned out to be gas instead of oil. I always felt that they, when they sold out of Uganda and found out that they had discovered a gas field, should have utilised the proceeds from their Uganda sale to make a bid for WZR. That I think would have appeased the market and would have been a good move for Heritage.
Anyway thanks for your post and hopefully in 2 weeks weeks or so we are richer than we are now.
