RE: Outotec Nickel Technologies
Sometime ago I read that Outotec's HydroNic Process required a high grade concentrate feed. This may be Victory's reason for producing one of the higher grade concentrates - as shown - in their comparison with other nickel miners. On the other hand the high grade concentrates could be to point out lower transport and smelting fees.
Victory did indicate that Outotec's HydroNic could possibly produce nickel on site, thus bypassing smelting and concentrate transport.
Better yet...it would be great if Outotec developed a process to handle low grade sulphide ores after minimum concentration, thus bypassing many concentrators functions, but wonder what such a process would cost.
