RE: relax Mattbigham Mattbigham,
RELAX!!!!!!
I was having fun at the expense of those who may have bought at .95 AND then we have people on the bullboard up in arms because the price drops under .90 in the midst of summer doldrums and 0 news in 35 days. WHO THE HELL CARES. I have clearly stated many times that I am very long, and therefore a shareholder. That does not mean I won't buy 20 000 shares at .80 and flip them at .90 and buy myself a gold coin and a nice bottle of scotch with the profits. That is not a criminal act. In my mind, that demonstrates supreme confidence in the stock. Why? because if it drops to .70 from .80 I don't care, it just means I hold more of my future retirement fund, and maybe I will take 500 bucks out of my monthly pay cheque and buy some more at .70.
This stock won't do anything significant until they start releasing 43 101's on new resources and end of quarter results with greater income. They won't release results because a bunch of shareholders are whining. They will release when they are ready. I will concur with everyone that it certainly does not hurt to put pressure on their investor relations department so they can really get after it once the real news starts to arrive at the end of the 3rd quarter, and that is on my list of things to do this week.
Shareholders such as myself (in my case, I started my core position at .25 and have added ever since with my highest pick up at .88) will have very healthy nest eggs when silver is $45 plus and AUN has quadrupled production. Until then, this stock is a spectator sport and people who have recently arrived to the stock need to realize that. If you are getting stressed out about a stock that has more than held its own vs the rest of the PM sector despite additional dilution . . . well . . . best wishes to all of you. I'd advise getting a shrink because the next 10 months in the stock world may put you over the edge.Brass balls are going to be required equipment. Those of you stressed by this need to look at the pain the First Majestic shareholders went through. Like many stocks it flatlined fr. Jan to Oct 2009 and then rose a bit and plateaued again from Oct. to August 2010... all the while making decisions that seemed to disregard the investors. Silver then made it's jump and FR went with it. We are being set up for a nice bump up with AUN as well once our stars line up with the next leg up in PM prices.
FR before the jump https://www.google.com/finance?chdnp=1&chdd=1&chds=1&chdv=1&chvs=maximized&chdeh=0&chfdeh=0&chdet=1281124800000&chddm=153232&chls=IntervalBasedLine&q=TSE:FR&ntsp=0
Enjoy summer gents, and spend some time dreaming of how pleased you will be with Aurcana when Gold hits 2000+ and drags little brother silver back to $50. Not tomorrow, not next month, not in October .... next year.
For those who are not long term Matt, .... it will suck to be them.
