I'm really giving them the benefit of the doubt. Just looking at the Protractor Software partnership for the US (and they call it a key partnership), it's reasonable to assume that a good number of dealerships will sign-on. Offering points/miles is a good deal for everyone. And maybe we will see a big block of sign-ons in the coming months rather than one at a time.

 

(Signing-on a dealer differs from launching a dealer). When a dealer is launched, they show up on Futura's website. To illustrate the point: Futura can have 100 new dealers now signed-on in the US, but not launched yet. Alos the same idea as the Quebec example earlier this year.

 

They have to incorporate the Mileageplus program with the 3 other frequent flyer programs. Maybe some tweeking to be done with the software and POS data collection. Top management has to keep in on-going contact with all sales reps and offering support.
