I thoroughly agree.  In the officer's wardroom aboard U.S. Navy  ships there are longstanding , but unwritten rules of  deportment requiring that two topics of discussion are never broached : politics and religion. All else is OK. The deterioration of this board is , I believe, a prime example of why the Navy would adopt such a policy. jmho, is all
