RAY JAY- EOM / AUX AUX has constructed a large
camp (reportedly with ~400 people on site), has from 13 to 19 drill rigs operating
(depending on who is asked), and commenced ground support in the high wall behind a
proposed portal site. Surprisingly the location of the portal was in the northeastern part
of their claims closer to the Eco Oro boundary. We would have expected the portal to be
located central to AUX’s mineralization to provide access both to the northeast and to
the southwest portions. We also saw an environmental team collecting water quality
samples and measuring flow rates from subsidiary creeks – presumably part of an
environmental base-line study.
