It's tough to focus on a specific business category to the exclusion of others. Does Futura sign-up car dealerships first and then B2B suppliers. Or get the suppliers on board now. Car dealerships could earn lots of Aeroplan points which then could then be used to fatten the reward offers. I've never seen a 15,000 mile reward yet by any dealer. (10K I saw a few times, but it may have not worked out well, Salmon Arm Honda for example).

 

It then comes to a standstill until this is resolved and maybe a reason for the lack of dealer sign-ons over the past 6 months. Maybe Futura is guaging whether there's enough B2B support to make it happen. This means calling on the businesses to solicit opinions. A time consuming but necessary process.

 

Because I do find the lack of sign-on's as unusual, especially after a good run, and then to stop so abruptly. It must be this market accceptance process which is causing the delay.

 

At a 1/2 cent price level, who really knows?
