RE: kriv

RE: kriv

There are good oilmen everywhere.  Good oilmen doesn't mean a great company.

Results speak for themselves.  A company exists on BOPD.  The only way to get BOPD is getting the drill in the ground.

Simba has a block with some potential targets.   Seismic will show these will be good drill targets.  BUT, you never know if the well will be economic or dry.  New Seismic is great at showing a very good image of the sub surface.  You just never know if the sand channel/trap is economic when you drill it.  Some history of the area will mention the formations that they will be drilling on has some chance for measured success because others have drilled on similar basins/formations with success.

Simba will rise in speculation when they announce drilling, they might get a bump in share price if they can get a JV.

So I believe Toot_toot is correct,. If you hold for 4 months at this current buy-in price, you could be in the money.  Or you could play a different stock and check back in a month or so and see nothing has changed with Simba.  You could have made some money in another stock that didn't sit idle and can toss those profits into Simba at a later date.

V.PEC is a Portugal oil play. Pumped by Danny Deadlock, lex luthor and others.  It is basically a one-shot play. A large salt dome with a huge gas possibility.  The drill has been turning for 3 weeks.  Some kind of results within 3-4 weeks, good or bad. I haven't bought yet.  I'll probably buy some and take the 50/50 chance like most of these juniors that it will hit and be economic.

The choice is yours.  In my opinion, I will wait on Simba.
