Analyst targets

Analyst targets

I know most of you don't believe in this stuff, so just ignore this post.  But from time to time I check in on analyst targets and I noticed that the mean one year target is now $3.00 as opposed to the $2.94 it had been.  Then I discovered the reason:  the high-end target of $5.00 was upped to $5.48.   I wonder who did that, when, and for what reason.   Of course for many of you, the little retail traders trading in and out of VTR daily are more in tune with the value of our company than the analysts, but I am just wondering.  You never know, there might be an analyst out there with some brains who knows a bit about this company and what its going to achieve.
