Supply...

Supply...

I continue to be concerned about the supply of the iphone 5.  I read an article in Barron's today, they were talking to an analyst from RBC, who stated, he had called a number of Apple Stores across the USA and none had any phones.  Verizon is still sticking to their delivery dates of early Nov. for the 16G, and Oct 26 for the 32G and 64G phones.

This news and the Foxconn issues are bothering me.  A number of analysts have also cut their sales projections for Q4/12.  I am just spit balling here, but does anyone think that there is a good chance that Apple's supply issues are worse than we think, and that they will miss sales estimates by a large margin?    Anyone with an opinion?  I am more than a little concerned that since the Monday after the initial sales release, we have not had ANY sales numbers released by Apple.  Everyone just keeps supposing that demand is massive and that is why there are no phones.  I have talked to a number of folks who are putting their purchases on hold until they can walk in and buy a phone.
