RE: RE: RE: RE: Who gets thrown under the bus this

Darn it! Why didn't you say the receptionist was gorgeous and distracting earlier! I would have personally visited Penner to chat with him. Why should he have eye candy that my $$ are paying for?

As the Financial head of an organization, if I helped put them in $300 million dollars worth of debt in 12 months without anything to show for it, I am not sure I'd be termed a success... You see, in most companies, getting the financing isn't all that a CFO does, ensuring the day to day finances of the company are in order is also somewhat important? You are acting as though Penner was not part of the team that has been there for the last 7 years and he had nothing to do with calling the shots. You quickly forget that they only had a management team of 4. Penner, Fisher x 2 and Gilmet. Those 4 worked together, closely, if their AGM's were to be believed and from what was said at the 2011 AGM, Penner had a  huge part in picking locations to drill. You can't blame Gilmet and Fisher 1 without implicating the others. Penner is really all that is left, why should he be the golden boy? He was there, he helped create the problem. It's not like he just walked into it yesterday and is trying to fix the wrongs. He was part of the team wrecking the reservoir. At the time, he was more concerned about making $$ rather than prolonging the production life...
