Brodarevo - Montenegro not consulted?

Brodarevo - Montenegro not consulted?

Potential delays, would be funny if they had not consulted with the neighbouring country as the place sits virtually on the border:

Nema gradnje bez saglasnosti Podgorice

Autor: K. Music

No construction without Podgorica's consent

Montenegro Minister for Sustainable Development and Tourism Predrag Sekulic said he learned about the construction of hydroelectric power plants on the River Lim near Brodarevo, from the newspapers. Speaking at Bijelo Polje, Minister Sekulic strongly rejected the possibility that with the construction of these plants eight or nine kilometers of Montenegrin territory will be flooded, since by knowing basic documents of hydroelectric plant construction in Serbia, such objects will not be built in the first place, said Sekulic. "When it comes to construction of hydroelectric power plants in Serbia or Republika Srpska, international agreements state clearly those big infrastructural projects can't be implemented without the consent of the country with which they share a border. Procedures must be respected", said Sekulic.
